The Board Room offers refurbished, competitively priced, and fully tested motherboards
for T40/T41/T42/T43 and R50/R51/R52 Thinkpad owners living in North America.
If your motherboard has any of these symptoms:
- GPU problems
- SouthBridge problems
- Board worked fine, then one day stopped working completely, with no visible component damage.
- Board is showing HDD / USB ports / audio / keyboard / screen freeze problems.
your motherboard needs to be replaced.
If you don't feel confident to do the board swap yourself, we will be happy to do this for you.
Just send your T4x or R5x laptop to us (without hard disk, battery and AC adapter) and we will exchange the board and fully test your laptop for you.
We will charge you a nominal fee of $50.00 for this.
We no longer take any trade-in motherboards.
